The Department of Pharmacy at Al-Yarmouk University College Holds Its First Meeting in Preparation for the New Academic Year

With the attendance of faculty members, the Department of Pharmacy at Al-Yarmouk University College held
on Saturday, September 13, its first meeting, during which several aspects related to the new academic year were discussed.

The meeting included discussing and approving the department’s academic plan, and reviewing mechanisms for organizing scientific activities including seminars, workshops, and field visits that contribute to refining students’ skills and developing their capabilities.

Emphasis was also placed on preparing the necessary laboratory equipment and supplies for the start of the new academic year.

The meeting also included reviewing updates to the curricula and working on updating them in line with scientific developments and quality standards.

In conclusion, the department head emphasized the necessity of monitoring student attendance according to the approved ministerial program. This meeting aligns with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (Quality Education), through supporting the educational process, developing curricula, and enhancing scientific research that contributes to building a conscious generation qualified to meet future requirements.
