Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Ali Kazem, Head of the Pharmacy Department at Alyarmok University College, has been nominated to serve as a member of the thesis defense committee for the Master’s thesis of researcher pharmacist Ali Bayat Abd. About \u201cCurcumin Supplements for Stroke Patients\u201d where the study aims to compare the effect of curcumin adjuvant treatment on muscle strength after stroke and daily activity restrictions,<\/p>\n\n

As well as potential neuroprotection through anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects compared to traditional treatment. The study found that the average values \u200b\u200bof performance activity (a measure of muscle strength and motor performance for stroke patients) significantly increased compared to the pre-treatment values \u200b\u200bin the second group of patients (P < 0.01).<\/p>\n\n

The discussion took place at exactly nine o\u2019clock in the morning on Wednesday, 12\/8\/2021, in the Imam Al-Sadiq Hall, peace be upon him, at the College of Pharmacy \/ Al-Mustansiriya University.<\/p>\n\n
