Discussion of Graduation Research Projects for Pharmacy Department Students – Al-Yarmouk University College
22/04/2025The Head of the Pharmacy Department, Dr. Qasim Mahmoud, attended the activities of the International Conference for Pharmacy Colleges in Iraq IPA 2025, which was held from April 18-20 at Al-Abrar Hall in Al-Jadiriya. The conference discussed several topics, including modern technologies in pharmaceutical industries, the use of artificial intelligence in clinical pharmaceutical education, and the use of nanoparticles in treating hypertension and diagnosing cancerous diseases.
The conference included an exhibition for pharmaceutical companies to showcase their products of medicines and medical supplies. There were also numerous dialogue sessions that discussed the pharmaceutical reality and the challenges facing new graduates in appointment and finding job opportunities in the private sector. Additionally, there were scientific competitions for pharmacy students and other activities.
The conference was attended by many scientists and researchers from several countries, including the United States of America, Ghana, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Turkey, Canada, and Lebanon.
On the sidelines of the conference, meetings were held with many dear colleagues from our Iraqi universities, as well as with guest professors from international universities to exchange views, ideas, and ways of joint cooperation between our universities in scientific research and future educational programs.
