The Department of Pharmacy conducts an awareness workshop on the risks of using Vape and psychoactive substances
at Baghdad Private Academy for Girls

As part of its community activities aimed at spreading health awareness among all segments of society, the Department of Pharmacy at Alyarmok University College held an awareness workshop entitled “Risks of using Vape electronic cigarettes and psychoactive substances” at Baghdad Private Academy for Girls.

The workshop addressed the health and psychological effects of using Vape devices and psychoactive substances, in addition to explaining the risks associated with the spread of these habits among youth and adolescents, and the role of family and educational institutions in reducing this phenomenon.

This event was conducted under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Pharmacy, who emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between the college and educational institutions in spreading health awareness, and enhancing the role of students and academic staff in community service.

The workshop received a remarkable interaction from the students and contributed to enhancing their awareness of the seriousness of these phenomena and their impact on public health.
