(Psychological Effects of Painkiller Addiction and the Pharmacist’s Role in Prevention)
Presented by specialist pharmacist Dina Suhail Mohammed Salih
Seminar Objective:
To shed light on the psychological effects resulting from painkiller addiction, and how it affects mental and behavioral health. It also aims to raise awareness among pharmacists about their essential role in preventing this phenomenon, through providing proper guidance to patients, promoting rational use of medications, and raising awareness about the potential risks of excessive painkiller use without medical supervision
